‘Otarie’ is a Lochin 333 Harbour Pilot (built in 1999), offering a very comfortable and quiet working environment. She has a good sized aft deck, flybridge, scientific work space in wheelhouse and accommodation comprising a well equipped galley, 3 full size berths and head.

The crew would be qualified to RYA/DoT Yacht master Offshore (commercial). ‘Otarie’ is fully compliant with MCA workboat code of practice for work up to 60 nautical miles from a safe haven (category 2). With a home port at Ocean Quay, Southampton, she is able to cover all UK inland and coastal waters, the Channel Islands and continental waters from Brest to Elbe up to 60NM from a safe haven.
